Celcom

I received this text message this morning, from Celcom:

“Attention. It is an offence under the law to make false/crank calls to 999 and Celcom reserves the right to terminate yr account without prior notice.”

Is Celcom accusing me of making crank calls to 999?!

How crude/rude these morons can be treating their customers with such intimidating/threatening notice? Yes I know some of them manning the helpdesk can’t even speak English… That fella in-charge of marketing/PR must be sleeping on his job. Or maybe they were working in some Government Departments before this?

People Watch

I shot this guy because I thought he ought to be shot.

It got me thinking, that it’s a matter of perception; you may say he’s Bold? Expressive? Animated? Open? Courageous?

I still think he’s Amusing.

Heart Sick (16)

Day #13-14, August 11-12, 2007

Things started to settle down. Fewer tubes by the day, and it’s less stressful staying in the room by myself as I got all the quietness I desperately needed and I started to be able to read more pages during the day.
Even the iPod got easier to tolerate already.

The doc came at least twice a day to check on me, but didn’t want to release me, as he’s not too happy with my blood pressure, and stuff he said but I didn’t really understand. That added loads of anxiety as I missed home very much!

But I couldn’t sleep well at nights. Not sure why, probably due the bed, or medications, or the beepings from the machines, or whatever. I would keep awake at 4am and got so agitated even TV, a book or iPod couldn’t help at all.

The next morning was very tiring and worst when I realized both my feet were swollen! I panicked and I couldn’t even taste my breakfast. I was worried something might have gone wrong… Finally the doc came, checked on me and asked me not to worry as those were ‘normal’ after the surgery; just needed to rest my feet higher on the bed, and dispensed some medications to help ease the water retention condition.

I could feel that I would be going cuckoo anything soon, after staying in this hospital for 2 week already!
